Thanks guys. She got out of the hospital yesterday night, while I was at work, so everything should be fine. She just had a really bad reaction to some medication.

Just giving everybody a slight update. I have the overall track for the intro done, I just need to go through and add the appropriate particle illusios.

The credits won't take me more than a day or two to perfect, and then i should be done.

Upon completion, I will take probably export the video, compress it, then ship it off to megaupload or filefront. I can't make any promises right now about when the actual file will be up, but hopefully soon.

Alright people, after a long time of being busy (go here for the full story, scroll down to my post: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=85150&start=7)

Anyway, I would like to proclaim that the beta is ready and finished. I will be uploading it tomorrow (along with the Simple Plan tracks for the SP MEP, if anybody is interested). It will be on my filefront account, and free to download. I will post the link tomorrow night, after I get home from work (at about 9 o'clock).

Sorry for the lateness. Ojamajo is a very demanding coordinator, giving us not a lot of time to edit, and the SP MEP people are about ready to kill me. X_X

I really shouldn't be, considering my own MEPs always get delayed due to hospitalization (my own! )

My song is wrong in the credits. It should be Fields of Hope, by Rie Tanaka.

I have recieved 5 comments on the beta. I am making the deadline for final nitpicks on New Years Day. After that deadline, I will make the final version and release the beta version pt. 2. If that gets the go-ahead, then I will release the final version after that. ^_^

Sorry for my English if i'll say something in a funny way :?

Ok! (I'm not in a project, just wanted to give some feedback on the work you've all already did) I've downloaded the beta version of the MEP and i'll be a bastard if i'll say something really really bad about the project lol because i love CCS and the Clow Cards.

Of course each person in the project found their way to show the cards' nature (i have to admire that sometimes it was really silly, but hey, why not? xD ) and the anime which will fit to it in some way. Of course there were some parts which i liked better than others, but generally everybody did well. One thing that i really hate to say though is about encoding/resizing material/aspect ratio... all that. There were some moments in the MEP where the originally 16x9 footage (which was changed to 4x3 format without cropping) was build in in the ORIGINALLY 4x3 format video. I'm just wondering how CodeChrono will deal with it. Will you live it in the way it is? (like the part 10:50-13:12; 22:40 'n so on.) That is also the question to the tracks' authors.
...because... I mean I like these parts (first one is pretty good), it's just among all those little things which bugging you when you watch the video. For me it also creates a notion of a little lame-people-who-are-talented-in-video-editing-though! damn! ;D

There are actually whole parts which have wrong aspect ratios like Shana/Fiery Card piece and some others. Hmh, also the resizing properties... like in a first segment after intro, also 10:25-??:??. I don't know what [the hell] the authors did to it, but when I'm watching it in a full screen i see a terrible ladders of pixels everywhere. Or maybe it is because of your resizing/encoding properties, CodeChrono? -_-

Well, I can say a whole lot about this, just ask me for that. I really would like to see this MEP successful. And anyway before the final release all of the feedback will count as a good thing, right...?

P.s. you just need to fix it a lot and it will be fine. :)
P.s.s. In the topic it says "Clow's Collection Part I", so would it be a second part to it 'cause i really would like to take one of the CCards... 駆 -- which is directly tied to my nickname? ^^'

Thank you very much for your feedback.

The poor video quality was due in part to the fact that I wanted the beta to be a low file size. The final version will be much better, trust me. ^_^

As for the various aspect ratios, I left that up to the authors to create. I don't think I can fix that, since they sent me their final clip as a huge file (If I can, please inform me ASAP!)

I thought the authors will be interested in changing their videos so them will look a little bit better, oh well... just change whatever you can (and what to :)), CodeChrono! Like Shana part, some others (can remember which one though. I might watch it again to refresh my memory). Good luck with transitions ^.^

Pull the individual clips into Vdub using an avs script, and resize there. It's as easy as adding borders to the top and bottom in the script, then re-rendering. Shouldn't take but a couple of minutes to process if you are rendering to the same file format.

addborders(0,40,0,40)

Tweak as you will to get the best a/r.

Then, switch it in the timeline (rename the new file to the old file's name in the project folder) and voila!

EDIT: Make sure you have a backup of the original file in case something goes horribly wrong. I still have the backup discs and tracks (even betas) from MEPs I worked on looooong ago.
