need help getting rid of black lines in Vdub

i cant seem to get rid of these black lines on the sides of my footage.the aspect ratio of my footage is 4:3 and is region 4 (PAL) if that helps

please help

using vdub, you can apply the null transform filter and then you can use crop

using avisynth, you can use crop(int left, int top, -int right, -int bottom)
so if you wanted to crop 8 pixels off the left and right it would look like
crop(8,0,-8,-0)

now cropping and resizing so you don't mess up the aspect ratio is not one of my strong suits

I'm doing this off of the Image you posted yet Video works exactly the same way ^_^

.. now get rid of those Sub-titles and TaDa ^__^

cropping is fine, but i've seen vdub produce some ugly resizes.
try lanczosresize(720, 576), and use vdub's null transform filter to apply cropping.
