Let the anticipation rise! 8-)

Well with the first season's ending, this was more than expected.

However, I can't even begin to express how happy I am that it's finally moving forward :D

On another note, remember this fun video?

This here is a direct download of a XviD version:

It's sort of medium quality, but I think it is good as it gets. :roll:

Bwahahaha, F*CK YEAH!!

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/20 ... wim-in-usa

The Adult Swim network will be airing the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion military robot anime series in the United States. President Ken Iyadomi of the anime distributor Bandai Entertainment and the company's marketing associate Marti Rivera made this announcement at the panel for the anime at the New York Anime Festival Saturday. Bandai Entertainment announced that it acquired the license to the first Code Geass series at the Otakon convention in July, and the animation company Sunrise has announced this week that a new series will air in Japan in the spring of 2008.

My god, I might actually start watching Adult Swim again only with more enthusiasm! 8-)

And more news comes up! Here's the official English cast list!
Lelouch: Johnny Yong Bosch
C2 (CC): Kate Higgins
Kallen: Karen Strassman
Suzaku Kururugi: Yuri Lowenthal
Lloyd: Liam O'Brien
Tohdoh: Steve Blum
Bartley: Peter Spellos
Clovis: Dave Wittenberg
Emperor: Michael McConnohie
Shirley: Amy Kincaid
Milly: Julie Ann Taylor
Nina & Sayoko: Kim Mai Guest

Hmmm, I'm not going to cast judgment on them until the show actually premieres. Though considering how prolific Code Geass is, the guys from Animaze are really bringing in the big peeps. Let's see if JYB can pull off a maniacal laughter at certain points.

*bangs head on desk at every name*

This has potential for disaster. I can't see Johnny Young Bosch pulling off Zero. Lelouch maybe...maybe, but not Zero. The rest arent much to look at either.
C.C. = Sakura Haruno ?
Suzaku = Sasuke Uchiha ?

They're gonna have to work hard to impress me.

Actually, if Kate Higgins uses that same tone of voice she used when she played Saber in Fate/stay night, she'll be able to handle C.C. very nicely.

Well, I cannot claim to have seen every role these people have done (the dub of Fate/Stay Night is one such I have not seen); perhaps I am overreacting.
Maybe I was just expecting all the roles to be people I'd never heard of before, like with Death Note, and thats why the list of big names hit me so hard.
However, I've seen quite a few of Bosch's roles and I must stand by my previous statement. I think the role of Zero is beyond his ability.

On another note, I am overjoyed to know that [adult swim] has recognised Code Geass's greatness. It has been one of my dreams to see Death Note and Code Geass back to back on American television, even if the voices are horrible. I don't know if it'll work out that way, but I can still hope.

darthgamer's comment in the Haruhi forum reminded me of this video. I'm pretty sure it hasn't been posted here yet.

O:

can't really say much about the VA's, but from the little you do hear I'd say it's sounding promising.
I liked Clovis...but we all know how that turns out

Hmm... this might not be so bad after all. JYB sounded very convincing at the single time he spoke, but I wonder how he's going to sound in the helmet.
C.C. (narrator)= satisfatctory
Suzaku= good
Clovis= good (but didn't really care)
Wish I'd heard more than just a charging yell from Kallen.

JYB can pull off too many good roles. Good Guy? Trigun, Bad guy? Shadow Gate user, Gate Keepers.

Unusual Anti-Hero? DMC4 trailers prove to me that he's MORE than perfect for Nero, anyone else would be a sin. I didn't realize so many former power ranger actors could carry talent that kept DMC alive for so long...

JYB also happens to be a good singer. His paperboy comedic music video had me busting my guts laughing...

I'd say of the 'newer' VAs, JYB is a diamond in the rough. When I first saw Trigun, Vash's voice actor hit me in the face like a snowball covered cannon shell...
