Yes, the quality will be better. I'm still messing with the compression, this was just to check the sync.

Chrono,

I found some issues w/ the intro that you may want to fix:

1. The audio edit at about 0:42-0:43. The beat jumps and it hurts.

Issues with the text:
2. The names on the bottom are NOT TITLE SAFE. They're not even action-safe, for that matter.

3. The names on the bottom aren't even aligned correctly - some are farther off the bottom than others.

4. I dunno about the yellow text.

5. 'dokool', not 'DOKool' plzkthx

6. The audio just drops at the title, you should keep it going and fade it out with the screen

I dunno how I feel about your title screen compared to kiarrens' but the intro song is nice. I'd like to see some more variety among the characters (i.e. not so many from the same shows) and maybe if you could match up the characters to the actual anime the editors used that'd make a whole lot more sense...

If kiarrens is willing to wait, I have no problem making adjustments. ^_^'

NP Chrono. Maybe you could fix Kira's character while you're in there? :)
I'm still waiting on Top-star's segment so waiting is no big deal.

Yep. I hate to deny Kira. Yuffie must die, so it seems. ^_^

dokool - I second all of your statements. And, yeah, the animes were supposed to sync like that, I honestly don't know what happened there.

EDIT: OMG YAY DIE YUFFIE DIE >D

1. I like Kiarren's screen more, sorry Chrono. ;P

2. Transition from Fruits Basket to Battle Athletes = jarring.
EDIT: maybe move the actress piece to just after Fruits Basket to before B.Athletes... I think those transitions will work better together, and then the first few pieces will flow better as well.

3. Beginning text is too far right to be centered, and I think it should zoom forward quicker and then come to a stop for easier reading. Then wait a few seconds to read it, then fade in the author.

4. I assume the missing video sections are awaiting finished copies.

5. The credits section idea looks good, just make sure there isn't actually any black between the parts in the finished product.

I also vote for an MP4 version of this. If you don't want to or can't make one, I'll volunteer for the 10 hour download or w/e and produce one :P Good luck with the encoding otherwise.

Hey Kiarrens,

Umm... Do you think you could do me the pleasure of sending me 15 second Huffy clips of all the girls in the project. I had two-four people actually send me clips of their characters.

So, since I don't have half the anime used, I could really use the clips. ^_^'

Also, I second Kira with the MP4 format.

Also, I have the following people's clips...

I can send along a few, it might take me a few days, though. I'm working this weekend plus I'm trying to organize a protest which needs to take place before Christmas. :\ So much to do, so little time!

Also, I'm willing to try an mp4. I've never done one, but instead of a ten-hour download Kira, if you'd be willing to walk me through it via AIM or something I can give it a try that way.

Thanks, I'll be waiting for them. Once I get those, I should be able to get the intro done in a few days after that.

And I'll be looking for a pretty font for the text. Maybe something not so yellow. O_O

Yeah, mine was jerky just like judges, none of the others seemed jerky which is awkward. Before you release the final encoded and beautifully compressed copy, I'd like to see it if you dont mind. I'm guessing judge would like to see it to.

You can host a mp4 version on our server if you want to put an xvid on the local. Don't matter to me, just offering the option.

If need encoding help, I'm more then willing :o . Just AIM me or somethin.

Edit: Btw chrono I hate to put more on your shoulders but there is alot of interlacing artifacts left on your track. If you need help with interlacing, I can help there too I'm sure there's plenty of time to fix it if you wanted to.

Even though Eva-fan already picked up the offer, I'd still be happy to help with MP4 encoding as well, Kiarrens. :)

I'm guessing the jerkiness on yours had something to do with the fact that you sent me your segment in 29.97 FPS, so I had to AssumeFPS(24) it and import the .avs to the timeline (if I didn't, it exported as static, which was really odd). As for Judge's, I don't know... I imported it exactly as I got it, with no changes. :\ Hmm. I'll play with it a bit more tonight when I get home from work.
Thanks for offering the web hosting, I'll take you up on it. :) My server is really just supposed to be for my website and not for AMV stuff, so I've been cheating a little the last few months.

I would like to announce that if people want a character segment OTHER than the one in their own track, please send it to me ASAP! I really want to try and get the intro DONE ASAP, because I'm trying to get Clow's Collection done as well.

Changing the fps with assumefps shouldnt cause it but ill get you a 24fps version by the end of the weekend.

I didnt know you wanted 24fps. I guess i forgot to look for that.

Maybe if you converted mine to huffy it would help? Your program might not like all the different codex being used together in the same timeline.
