Need help in Sony Vegas 6.0

Postby SailorWicca » Sat Nov 24, 2007 7:27 pm

Okay, I have a quick question. I used this program once 2 years ago...and now I'm making another amv...I did a quick browsing of the guide stickied here but I didn't see anything that was answering my question. Maybe I just didn't look far enough in? But I've been searching online for help for awhile now. D:

Anyway...I made my amv. However, I decided I wanted to ad a dedication at the beginning. Just a text "clip". I know I can make it in Vegas itself or insert a Jpeg I made in Photoshop. My problem is, since the audio/video for the amv starts at 0:00...when I insert the text media, the audio is starting there as well....so like...is there an easy way to shift the entire amv down the timeline a bit? I dunno...maybe I'm not thinking of the right resolution to the problem? Thanks in advance for your help! =D

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

Man...I hate when you spend hours trying to figure something out...and then when you finally find out how to resolve it...it was sooooooooooooo simple! Lol.

Thanks so much again! I almost wish the resolution was harder so I wouldn't feel so stupid now. Hahaha.

Slightly easier: set the cursor to 00:00, then select Insert - Time.
