ROUND THREE!!

48 people down. 16 left. Amazing :O
So you may have noticed in the header image that this round is going to have a "theme." Well, I do use that term kinda loosely. It's not really a theme in the traditional sense of most live Iron Editor events (like the match would have a theme that the editors would have to stick to, like flight, childhood, action movies, dreams, etc.). When I say theme here, I'm specifically talking about the song selections.
For round 3, all of the songs you will be editing with are from very well known AMVs.
One clue I WILL give you is that, none of the songs are from videos made by anybody in the tournament, including myself and judges.
By "well known," I mean, I can almost guarantee that everybody in this tournament will immediately recognize the song when they get it. But, in the rare case that you just are not familiar, when I link you to the song + lyrics, I will also provide a link to the original video to jog your memory.
Now, how does this affect judging or rather how you should edit your video? Well, it "officially" doesn't affect it at all. However, it MAY sway the judge's decision if you decide that you want to structure your video the exact same way that the original creator did. Or maybe they'll like that you did that. It's up to you with how creative you want to be. You can treat it like you have the first 2 rounds, except that you just happen to have a song from a prominent AMV.
The OTHER BIG CHANGE is that you now will have the OPTION of editing for 3 hours instead of 2. This is something BOTH editors have to agree on. If one of you says "I want to edit for 2," then thats what it will be.
Thats basically it. The rest of this round's rules are the same thing. You pick 5 sources, we roll and you go. Because the songs are from prominent AMV's, there certainly is the chance that the source you roll ends up being the same source from the original video. If this happens, I will NOT re-roll. For one, this might in some cases give away what the song is, and two, it just means you have to be more creative and make your own interpretation.
So get your matches scheduled! I'm very excited about this round

This idea is fan-frickin'-tastic. I'm really looking forward to editing now!
