Video playback is screwed up

Postby Bauzi » Sat Nov 10, 2007 2:25 pm

Hi,

I have a bad problem with my system. When I worked on my Windows XP system for let´s say... 1 hour. I can´t really play videos. The images are really dark and sometimes I get some dark red or dark blue lines. Doesn´t really make sense for me, because after a restart everything works fine. This was test with a few containers and codecs and with different players (as well as VLC). I made an update for my graphic card a while ago. Could it be that there went something wrong? What could I do against it?

Help... pls.

.. sounds like the Video Card is not Seated Correctly .. or .. ummm .. no, the other idea is more like a bad connection in your monitor ~_~

.. if you have the time, take the Monitor and the Video Card to the Geek-Squad and let them figure it out.

Wait! Yes it could be the monitor. It seams like a old dog. Well it is from the year `95.
There are often short blackouts in the last time.
