Hi kids,

So this weekend, all of the videos that we received were screened before the local anime club, and the 8 members in attendance that day scored each video on a scale from 1-5. This score was then averaged and that value was used to determine the finalists. Here they are. The videos in each category are sorted in no particular order and may not be played in this order at the con.

The Trailer category was removed.

The AMV Contest will be shown in the AMV room on Friday 11/16 from 8:30PM - 10:30PM. It will be presented again on Saturday 11/17 in Main Events from 10:00AM - 12:00 noon. An encore presentation will also be in Main Events on Sunday morning from 8:30AM - 10:30AM.

The AMV Contest awards ceremony will be held in the AMV room and will take place on Saturday from 10:00PM - 11:30PM.

AMVs that did not make the final cut will be presented during the AMV Overflow block in the AMV room on Saturday from 8:30PM - 10:00PM.

Thanks to everyone that submitted. This year's gonna be extra hard on the judges =D

Awesome. Im glad both my videos got in.
Im just worried the masq event will run into the saturday night contest.
I was forced to do a skit so i really REALLY dont wanna miss the contest.
Ill be at as many showings as i can.

I am just thankful to be in the contest. This is my first contest outside the midwest. I hope I do well and good luck to everyone who made it in. I can't believe I am participating in a contest with Atom X!

Don't worry. According to the rules on the Anime USA site, the masquerade is scheduled for 5:30 PM.
