Yeah, Austin is awesome and all that, but I don't know if it counts as being Texas. It's one of those cities so disconnected from its surroundings that it needs the phrase "The People's Republic Of..." affixed to its name.

The film I was editing in Austin got moved out to Hollywood. The reasons surrounding it would take me 5 hours to talk about, and will occupy a very juicy chapter of my autobiography when I've conquered the industry. Its a soap opera, in short.
