IRC Channel Moved
In the wake of several days of downtime from the only ZiRC server, we have found ZiRC to no longer be a suitable place for #AMV. Thus, we have decided to pick up and relocate to synIRC.
#AMV on irc.synirc.org
There is a CGI client, for anyone who wants it, right here.
All the same old rules still apply.

Well is there any way for the server admins to add some kind of "privilege" or something if requested for a specific series of hostnets? :\ We have 5 computers in the apartment, all editors, and only 3 people can be on IRC :OKalium wrote:Pretty much any server worth using will enforce anti-botnet measures like that.Nessephanie wrote:Why can't you choose a server that doesn't limit IP connections.
It's a real pain when there are more then three people on the same connection ;_;

Problem solved. They happily increased our IP's limit.AtomX wrote:Well is there any way for the server admins to add some kind of "privilege" or something if requested for a specific series of hostnets? :\ We have 5 computers in the apartment, all editors, and only 3 people can be on IRC :OKalium wrote:Pretty much any server worth using will enforce anti-botnet measures like that.Nessephanie wrote:Why can't you choose a server that doesn't limit IP connections.
