Premiere Pro Won't Import!

Postby CCChang » Mon Oct 29, 2007 12:40 pm

I use VirtualDubMod to extract a clip I want to use.

When I try to import, something goes wrong...

The import window opens, but the progress bar doesn't move; it freezes. I thought I would try extracting another clip instead, oversaving the one that didn't work, but everytime I do; VirtualDubMod claims it can't because some other program is using it.

Strange thing is, it seems to be Premiere Pro. No other program is running the clip. Even when I click cnacel on the import window, it still claims it can't do it cause Premiere Pro is "said to be using it" when I closed the import window.

Any suggestions?

Did you kill the process and try again?

Yep. Repeated it again and again, even closing down the project.

Nevermind...I'll just have to find another way around it...

Don't worry. It doesn't matter anymore.
