My bro just brought midnight juggernaut's Dystopia album, alternative cross, jazzy electronica/rythmic techno..

It's not all that bad, I think I enjoy it mostly because the bass player is practically playing every blues scale and then warping the shit out of it with some distortion pedals :)

Was Radiohead mentioned already? And what about Tool and Hurt? They're alternative/prog metal though..

Foo Fighters and The Last Vegas are very good as well.
I can claim the title as being the first person on a-m-v.org to submit an AMV with the artist KJ-52 on it. Yay. Hahaha.

Here's some Japanese bands (many of them actually sing in English) that might tickle your fancy:

Ellegarden (my personal favorite band), OGRE YOU ASSHOLE, Over Arm Throw, B-DASH, GOOD 4 NOTHING, Egnish (not a typo), 9mm Parabellum Bullet, Glory Hill, Daffy Strike, Pinkloop, ストレイテナー (Straightener), GOING UNDER GROUND, and... a bunch of others. IM me and I shall enrich your musical existence.
