Vegas Help!

Postby ShatteredFlame » Thu Oct 11, 2007 7:41 pm

For some reason everytime I open Sony Vegas 7d it keeps giving me this error

rundll32.exe - Application Error

The Instruction at "0x01691177" referenced memory at "0x00ef6328". The memory could not be "read".

Click OK to terminate the program

I tried to uninstall/ re-installing it {and deleting all of the old files before re-installing} but for some reason it just keeps giving this same error each time.

The only thing on my computer that i have recently installed in the past few days is the Amvapp 3.0 beta but i don't think that did something to vegas. >.<

Any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated :D

I found out what the problem was, i accidently somehow downgraded my ffdshow codec{or whatever} which for some reason caused vegas and other programs to lock their seetings and not run properly, i had to upgrade the ffdshow codec to fix the problem, now everything works fine :D
