Importing problem!!!!!

Post by theshlump » Fri Oct 12, 2007 6:45 pm

Ok well I downloaded an episode from a website. Its called [ANBU-AonE]_Naruto_01_[ED304340] and its an episode from naruto. I was going to make it into my first AMV. But, it said :

"ERROR:My Videos\naruto eps\[ANBU-AonE]_Naruto_01_[ED304340].avi could not be imported. The required codec was not downloaded automatically because the Download codecs automatically check box is not selected in the Options dialog box."

I know its confusing but very frusterating. Please someone help me with this problem, I downloaded an Avi Codec from a tutorial i saw on YouTube but still does not happen to work. If you can help, i would be very greatfull. I just really want to try to make an AMV but it wont import! lol, :(

convert the files into a different compression... such as huffyuv... but that codec makes ginormous files so you are going to have to take short clips...

you can do so with a program called Virtualdub Mod:

then go to file->save

use those to mark the beginning and the end of the "clips" you want so you can save room
