you could just use a url re-directing service.

What show are they parodying with the comic shop guys? The only thing that comes to mind for the manager one is Akane Maniax.

I believe the Animate shop manager in LS is a parody of, well, the Animate shop manager. Apparently Animate did a few ads which were featured that HOT-BLOODED shop manager who then went on a quest to become the BEST SHOP MANAGER EVER or some such. In that same artstyle.

a.f.k. RISES FROM THE GRAVE so here's Episode 21! 8-)

(that's right, I'm following these guys)
- Konota reminds Kagami and Tsukasa about the upcoming Comiket. That brought up bad memories for Tsukasa. Kagami was shocked at the amount of money Konota spends there. Well, duh! If you have enough money for 100 doujins, I say go for it!

- Minami meets Cousin Yui for the first time. She noticed her "assets" as well. *enter depression mode*

- Poor Tsukasa! She tried to wake up early so she can finish up homework early, but that failed miserably.

- Ever had an experience where you had a shock of inspiration only it gets lost in a mere second? Poor Hiyori!

- Second half is the class trip to Kyoto!

- Bwahaha, Tsukasa tried to give out crackers to a bunch of deer, but she ends up getting a dose of what bestiality feel like!

- So with that in mind, Konota tried the same thing with Kagami. Ooooo, how daring! :o

- Minoru's random outbursting of laughing when the tour guide stopped speaking was freakin' GOLD!

- Hmmm, how do you deal with Indian tourists who ask you to take their picture for them?

- Most of the other stuff is random sightseeing in Kyoto.

- Bwahaha, Minoru gets left behind when the bus is leaving! *cues Galaxy Express 999 reference courtesy of Konota*

- What this? Kagami got some sort of note from a mysterious boy? Could it be a love confessional letter? *ENTERS DERE DERE MODE* God, I love it when she blushes!

- Ouch, I guess it wasn't meant to be since it was just some guy who wants Kagami to buy that souvenir he wanted. Awww, poor Kagami!

- The final days of Kyoto involves Konota and the others going through a bunch of anime stores. They even got their picture taken in front of Kyoto Animation studio. What a plug!

- In the end, the teacher wanted to do online gaming for the rest of the weekend, but the servers are down. Ouch!

- Lucky Channel! Minoru RISES FROM THE GRAVE?! And he TRASHED the Lucky Channel set?! Goddamn that was fu**ing epic!
ED sequence! Minoru formed a sentai group of some sort. Oh god! Man, that was extremely entertaining stuff! I almost missed most of their antics.

Meito Anizawa (Anime Tenchou) is a mascot for Animate voiced by Seki Tomokazu both in the ads and in Lucky Star as well. You may also know Anime Tenchou by the name Captain Animate (there have been drama CDs I believe). The character is designed by Kazuhiko Shimamoto who did Honou no Tenkousei.

Woot, episode 22!
A few funny moments here and there such as:

- Ahhh, the gas prices are going up!

- Hmmm, sleeping makes you grow faster, is that right, Kona-chan?

- I feel Tsukasa's pain! I had those problems falling asleep as well.

- Hmmm, were Konota and Kagami talking about the possibility of a fourth Full Metal Panic series?

- Bwahaha, at the very end of the episode, Hiyori imagined a Marimite moment between Yutaka and Minami.

- Lucky Channel.....well the set is still destroyed.
The second half of this episode was REALLY heart-warming.
Konota's mom Kanata makes an appearance in spirit form. Most of it dealt with flashbacks about the mom and dad, what did those two see in each other, and how they loved each other.
If KyoAni were able to pull off that family moment beautifully, imagine what they can do with the upcoming TV series Clannad since one of the main themes of that series is family. Oh man, I'm getting goosebumps for Clannad TV right now! :P

I MUST HAVE THE SOUNDBYTE OF KONOTA SNEEZING IN EP 25... The echo, the hilarious cuteness - anti-cuteness, and just the way it sounds like:

ACCCTTIIIOONN!!!

I've been replaying that clip over and over
"Strength lies in action. Let the weak react to me..." - Kamahl, Pit Fighter from Magic: the Gathering
"That is a mistake many of my enemies make. They think before they act. I act before I think!" - Vortigern from Merlin ('98)
"I AM REBORN!" - Dark Schneider Bastard!! OAV

SECOND TO LAST EPISODE, and DAMN there were a lot of stuff going on!
- We ALL experienced it one way or another; moving files from one place to another and that "Time Remaining" starts fluctuating like crazy!

- What do you do when you get sick? Play video games of course!

- Konota, Hiyori, and Patty made a moe reference about sick girls. Obviously, Yutaka and Yui just stared at them, and they felt REALLY uncomfortable. This is why I keep deep otaku references away when talking with other people!

- Hiyori's yuri fantasy of Yutaka wanting to touch Minami's breasts so they can grow?! DO WANT!

- Patty's musical artists include Soudesune… Orange Ra***, Chemist**, Suneoh***, Porno Graf****, L’arc en ci**, and so on! It's pretty obvious why!

- According to Patty, there's a difference between a maid and a housekeeper. I agree immensely!

- Hehehe, a bunch of the cast were talking about how Minami is all cool and stuff, but in reality she's doen some pretty embarrassing things.

- Konota and her family were watching a dog show. Yutaka was mentioning stuff about the dog while Konota and her dad were placing labels like "tsundere" and "having an absolute territory" on the owners.

- How true about what Konota says about the recent mecha series; it has to have cute characters mainly girls! :o

- On another note, was she watching Gigantic Formula?

- Hahaha, Konota just picked up one of those Galaxy Angel Rune character CDs. There's a reason why she chose that particular one!

- On another note, Kagami is staring at the Powerpuff Girls Z CD that has Blossom on it. Hmmm, I never realized that!

- Konota and Patty were looking at moe girls online. Cousin Yui walked in on them. That's bad!

- Then Yutaka walked in. CLOSE THE WINDOW QUICKLY!

- Bwahaha, Kuroi-sensei made a long blog post, and when she hit submit, the page can't be found! Clicking the Back button didn't work since now the page expired thus losing everything. This is why I make a copy of the entire post just in case that happens!

- Lucky Channel! OH SHIT Yuko Goto (you know the seiyuu who the voice for Mikuru) made a badass appearance in hopefully mediating the troubles between Minoru and Akira. She was scary!
ED sequence is an EPIC light-saber battle!

I have to say, I believe this has to be one of the few episodes where almost everyone got an equal amount of screen time and not to mention more interactions between Konota's group and Yutaka's group to a certain extent. I shall await for the .........last episode!

In the last ep, we get to see EXACTLY how they trained for Take it! Sailor Fuku!

FINAL EPISODE! This has to be the one episode that actually followed a pretty continuous plot. It pretty much featured preparations of the requisite cultural festival! Now comes the fun moments!
- Patty gets her moe moment to shine when she wants all of her girl friends to do a cheerleading routine for the festival. Now how do we get a good number of girls to participate in it?

- First off, Patty called Konota and pretty much bribed her to do it. If Konota does it, she gets to score a free ticket to see Aya Hirano! :o

- So then Konota relays the info towards the Hiiragi sisters to join her. Tsukasa agreeded easily. Kagami was harder to convince so Konota pulled off her innocent act and got her "dere dere" side to give in!

- Getting Miyuki and Kagami's two other friends to join wasn't too much of a problem. Of course in Konota's mind, Miyuki does have the advantage if you know what I mean.

- Despite the fact Kagami was against doing this routine, troubles Patty encountered made her more involved and passionate in actually doing it. Oh, the girls were scared of her now!

- And yes, the dance routine is in fact the full dance version of Motteke! Sailor Fuku. It's what we all wanted! 8-)

- The episode ended with the curtains raising up for all of the girls to start their routine.
I got more to say, but I'm getting really tired so wait until tomorrow!

Now here's the second half!
- The girls told their respective parents about the routine they're about to do, and in exchange they talk about their experiences. Konota's dad obviously got excited about the girls doing this! Man, is there's ever a father/daughter moment of this type ever?!

- Hmm, those girls who were hanging out in the front of the school were from that game version of Lucky Star, right?

- Bwahaha, Konota was wearing Yuki Nagato's witch costume! Great impression of her as well!

- And for yuri fans to go nuts over, Yutaka's and Minami's costumes are revealed! Man, don't they look like a married couple! 8-)

- And here it is, ladies and gentlemen! Akira from Lucky Channel FINALLY makes an appearance in Lucky Star! And Minoru and her are still bickering at each other's throats. Ahhh, they learned nothing! :o

- The girls were very nervous about the performance. But no fear because as Minoru was about to announce them, his cellphone rang which had the ringtone of "Mi-Mi-Minoru...". Everyone laughed, and the girls were relaxed.
ED sequence has probably the best song Minoru has ever sang like EVER!

And that's that! They didn't do anything that's the most triumphant and epic ending ever (well the full dance number was pretty epic, but that was done as a practice run and not in front of a bunch of people). They just went along a similar pace like the past episodes. But in a way since we got to know so many of the girls' personalities, watching everything come together with that in mind felt accomplished.

Final thoughts: Well that was interesting ride! At the beginning of which the series has started, LOTS of people had serious doubts about this show especially with that whole 8 minutes of talking about food which totally split the viewers. So once you get use to the format of this you'll find yourself "as part of" whatever conversations the girls were having which I believe was the point.

I was listening to the character tracks and while they were okay, Miyuki's was the most enjoyable. Especially her "Rhyme[...]" track. a pleasant mix.

A most satisfying ending for this type of anime.

No epic battles or world of deaths needed here. Just YEAH it's over... in a good way ^_^
