Working with Mpeg 2 in Premiere

Postby Lain_001 » Mon Oct 01, 2007 7:58 pm

My capture device only captures to Mpeg 2 and I usually have to convert all of the footage usually taking up to four days and unessesary time. Is there a way to work with Mpeg 2 in premiere without having to covert it? Or is there no possible way?

I am capturing video game footage, stuff off of the tv, and my own stuff that is stuck on VHS.
