But great series overall, can`t wait for season 2! :o

I`m still not sure if I like Lelouch or think that he`s an asshole though..... :?

My words exactly.I was expecting a superb ending and based on what happens in the last double episode it was going that way when suddenly............... title credits

"Wtf is going on here?"I thought at the beginning and kinda thought they'd make an OVA to finish it.Then I saw that it has 2nd season and felt like killing them...
This is the worst torture ever,a cliffhanger of major caliber.

Anyway, can't wait for 2nd season. And I really expect something good to happen although I'm a bit scared what Sunrise will do this time.Ending 1st season in such a point means we're going for a full war, some major casualties and surely some flashbacks on C.C's past.

Anyway, does anyone know about when the second season begins broadcasting? In Anidb, the only hint is that it's during 2007...

i only just finished the series (only just started watchin it 4 days ago :P ) and i gotta say....gahh!! such a cliffhanger ending....lelouch and suzaku will probably both come out surviving somehow....cant get rid of the 2 main characters can they? its just not the same if they did...its half of the storyline

really curious as to wat happens to CC and Nanaly (however its spelt..i dunno anymore..fansubbers keep changing it)

theres some rumour goin around that it starts next month...cept next month is next week and theres nothing around so...hmmm

as for the q of whos gonna be lelouchs VA....good q...needs a commanding yet gentle (wud that be the right word? ) voice for him

If this is true,I'd be more than happy. But I doubt it.Most probably in December if we're talking about 2007.If not, then we're gonna wait a bit...

S1 came out in March, right? I'd expect s2 to run at the same season 2k8. October is a good rumour, but probably just a rumour, otherwise there'd be real news by now.

it all started october last year and finished july this year....now that i think about it...its been 3 months...kinda hard to believe they produced a whole season in that time which is annoyin since it was such a cliffhanger T___T

You have to remember that break they had to take before releasing the final 2 episodes of season 1
they were probably working on season 2 not too long after their little break

or during, even. The break had to do with broadcast timetables and not production, so they probably have a lot ready in advance.

Moonphase reported it was due to production delays and the insertion of recap episodes. Basically I took it to mean the recap episodes were done because production was behind schedule.

Geass season 2 is not airing this season (it began today). If Sunrise is also animating the next season then when it airs will have a lot to do with the Gundam 00 run. Production companies do not run two marquee titles in the same season.

On a final note the staff commentary track for the final scene was pretty fucking funny.

So then no-one knows when season 2 is airing then. That's a bitch.

Code Geass is a good anime. It has mechs that own the gudams. The fight scenes are awesome. The characters that were involved created a more deeply lined plot... Go CLAMP! :D The ending is pretty hanging but there's still gonna be a season 2 rite? I kinda wish they didn't cut off Princess Euphemia le Britannia's part from the anime... I liked her ideals...

Btw... Lelouch reminds me of Kamui from X 1999... Suzaku reminds me of Syaoran from Tsubasa

The only involvement CLAMP has is the original character design.

Yes there are plans for season 2. As long as it's Sunrise and Goro at the helm it should deliver. Give them some time to put stuff together. They obviously never thought the show would go beyond 26 (a rarity these days) so they have a lot of work to do.

Does the manga have different plot than the anime or is it my guess?
I've found up to chapter 10 of volume 2 in japanese so I don't understand what's going on but I've noticed several differences...
