I have never had problems ripping DVDs, but this new one I bought has a gold bottom color instead of the usual white, and my DVD ripper dosent read it, is there on that dose?

A golden bottom usually means bootleg >_< . I've never had problems with bootleg discs though. The possibility is that it was written with a off the market DVD+RW or +R or -RW, or one of those standards and your DVD-ROM doesn't like it. It may also be a bad disc. If you thought it was a legit disc, I would return it and get my money back. If it is a bootleg and you were purchasing a bootleg, shame on you :p

what ripper are you using? Also, make sure the DVD drive reads it at all.

No, I didnt pay for it, it was a present, And I dotn think my rom has trouble reading it because I have watched it on my comput alot, And I use a prog called Smartripper.

I've a few golden ones that arent bootlegs, its just another standard for the dye coloring afaik.
All I can think of is to suggest using DVDDecrypter and if that dosent work Vstrip. You can find both of those on doom9's download page at http://www.doom9.org
