Can anyone recommend a great romantic, sad, or dramatic song

Postby missind33 » Sat Sep 08, 2007 5:55 pm

I want to either make a sentimental, romantic, or dramatic (it figures on what song I pick) but I would love a song that can go great with Howl's Moving Castle. It can be techno, instrumental, indie, rock, pop, or christian (If I find any other great songs I might save that song for later) Or can someone recommend a song for a great piano piece?

I have no idea if this was suppose to be in the Suggestions, or General Music forum subject thing.

"Shangri-La" by ELO ranks up there as one of the saddest songs I've ever heard.

I think the best sad songs are all Indie.

So you should look for indie groups like Cold play, Thirteen senses, Travis, The Cramberries, The delgados, Au revoir simone, Dirty on purpose, etc...

Some of them are not much known, but they have really great songs.

Pain of Salvation - "This Heart of Mine (I Pledge)"

Green Carnation - "Six Ribbons"
