Virtual Dub Null transform Issue

Postby Toshi.des » Fri Sep 07, 2007 2:26 am

I was following this guide for cropping my video:
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... ault.htm#1

but when i went to save it from the information from this page:
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... ubmod.html

it says to always use Fast recompress. After I did that the filters button disappeared.

And when I seem to add the filter first it doesn't seem to take effect when I save.

Here's a video of what I did:

So how do you crop an image i guess :P.

if you want to add vdub filters you have to use full processing mode - read guide more thoroughly :P

I prefer doing everything in AviSynth if at possible. Doing so will avoid unnecessary color space conversions. "Full processing mode" runs in RGB32, while "Fast recompress" keeps the original color space. So when working with MPEG-2/4 based video, it stays YV12.

thank you, while I did figure out that full processing mode would use the filters as anubisx00 said on the guide it said not to use it because of color conversions so I thought there must be another way.

Thanks for the help. :)
