Ripping PSone vids on WinXP

Postby drunken_physicist » Thu Oct 24, 2002 12:11 am

I recently upgraded to Win XP (from Me) and have discovered that PSmplay (the software I used to use to rip movies off of playstation games) no longer works. I get an error WNASPI32.dll not found -- apparently XP does not use aspi (and isn't supposed to).

Does anybody know of a PSone ripper that works on XP? Or a way to trick PSmplay into working? (Simply downloading WNASPI32.dll doesn't work, as it apparently does for Win 2000 -- it gets rid of the error messages but then freezes trying to access the cd drive).

Thanks
