Release Kingdom Hearts 1 Extractor Working!!!
Ive been working on this extractor and it works. (thanks to the beta tester Maggivy for providing the information on the Final Mix Version).
I can make a US NTSC Version for kingdom hearts although i need the information of the disc. (Disc size in bytes, the beginning and ending offsets for the intro, ending, secret ending and the pre-intro.)
For people with the PAL Version of Kingdom Hearts, it may take a while for me to make an extractor. Due to decoder decoding it to 29.97 not 25fps. It was easy to change the framerate of the extractor for FFXII due to it having no compression format (except for the ATRAC3 format )
Heres the link to extract the Pre-intro from Kingdom Hearts Final Mix.

Tell me what the header and footer values are for a KH fmv and I'd be happy to provide you with the offsets for the US version.

Ugh, and DVD recorder, I've tried everything really but this is the best result so far.MaggIvy wrote:I've been working on the ripper with dean and been using the capture card, and the emulator...lol.
Its going to be hell trying to get final 3 offsets but I'll try anyway.
Just so you know both of them work so far.

Just search these hex values:sayde wrote:Tell me what the header and footer values are for a KH fmv and I'd be happy to provide you with the offsets for the US version.ffxdean wrote:I can make a US NTSC Version for kingdom hearts although i need the information of the disc. 01 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 80 02 70 01
They are the headers of the movies for the Pre-intro, Intro and Ending.
and the Secret Ending is:
00 70 ED C3
For the secret ending, it should be right after the Ending so once you got the ending sectors search for the secret ending after it.
The secret ending should be somewhere after the 1200000 sector.
for the pal AUS/NZ/UK version its 1299632

The entire iso image is 3,041,132,544 bytes
pre-intro:
59196800-69DB9195 (268mb)
Intro:
69DB9800-7B51C7E5? (279mb)
Ending:
7B51C7F0?-AD677DF5 (801mb)
Secret ending:
A49E1A72(AD678000)-B5438915 (266mb/125mb)
The reason why I couldn't find where the intro ends and where the ending begins with absolute certantly is because the hex values you gave me were no where to be found after the intro. Apparently, either the ending has a different header, or I'm doing something wrong.
Also, the values for the secret ending you gave me didn't seem right. Usually headers have a bunch of 0's or F's before it. This one looked as if it was packed right in the middle of something. The secret ending looked to be 266mb when I extracted it from off the offset which contained your header. But when I extracted the secret ending from where I thought might be the right place, it came out to 125 mb which still seems rather large for such a short scene, but it also seems more reasonable compared to other one.
I added some screenshots so you could see if my offset values looked right. Tell me what you think.
