I thought the color worked quite well myself. I have a lot of artwork and such that can be used, I figured a music themed character would fit the MEP better then most of what I have. Not sure about how well the font and style of the text works, and getting the 1/4 size version to look good is a little trying. I put those together rather quickly, so I can go back and tweak them further when I get the time.

Yea, it was the font that really wasn't doing it for me, but since you're the only one that's offered up anything (and i haven't even attempted to do anything myself) i didn't want to come down hard on your efforts.

Font can easily be rectified, any thoughts on something that might look good? I can tailor future versions accordingly.

I'm not really a font guy myself, but in general something with more even character thickness that seems part of the banner as opposed to a textual overlay. Don't hide it, but don't make the title look like a layer (the shadows kinda did that).

Been a bit busy with things lately (and will continue to be for the next few weeks). I am currently engaged in an attempt to get AE on my system again after some issues installing it (though it's admitidly low on my list) - the footage i'm working with is looking damn nice though. How goes it with all of you?

Animethon14 is going on here in Edmonton. I won runner-up action for Awakened...
then I beat myself and won best action for my other entry :D lol *will be up within the week*

Aside from that, I'm half way through Witch Hunter Robin. One ep a day will give me a good month to edit before 1st beta, however I've already done some parts in Various that I may or may not keep.

haha, that's why I haven't bought a new PC yet. :P

Imported footage from 3 movies. Laid down the basic groundwork for the long segment and one of the short segments. Importing footage of 2nd GIG during the week. Looking pretty good so far.

I won't really be able to start work on this until I'm finished editing my segment for the project I'm running. I don't think I'll have quite enough space for the clips, for one thing; however, I'd also like to install the new(er) AMV app and do a defrag before I get started in on this one.

Slow going here, but just letting you know that I'm still alive. ^_~

Heh, glad to hear from people - I'm not being all antsy or crazy over it or anything... I'm just here on the forums a lot at work.

I'm waiting to get my laptop so I can start seriously editing. I should have it in a week or so. I have the majority of Gankutsuou ripped and not all buggy from copyright protection (just disc 1 left)

If you've having troubles, DVD Fab Decryptor works very nicely on Gankutsuou.

I'm supposed to get my source within the next couple days, gotta finish up a few little projects and then I should be able to focus entirely on this.
