mASKINg in Vegas?

I know how to do it after figuring out bymyself but how do you mask a moving image in motion

go to the next keyframe, and move the dots into position

See, there's a reason for the word filter... Why would you try to get around it if the mods (the people that can revoke your posting privledges) found the need to put it in there? Not that they would, but it seems kinda stupid to test the fact.

why do the image sequence through vdub, when you can just drop in the video in and use keyframes?

your method is a lot more complicated with unneeded steps

you also don't have to "save the mask as a preset" in my method, or re-time each frame back down to one frame, or even bother with vdub at all... and in my method you just have to reset the anchors as well, just on the different keyframes..

wow you just made masking in vegas a lot harder..

:?: so with ur method if u want to masking a person walking would u not have to do it frame by frame?

you would do the frames on the keyframes, but you wouldnt have to import an image sequence no, you can do it with the video file :/
