Converting with virtualdubmod

Postby Indigo Rose » Thu Aug 02, 2007 4:30 pm

I have a dual audio .ogm with softsubs that I want to convert into a .avi with the original japanese audio and no subtitles. How do I do this? I've tried to figure it out myself, but I'm really no good with this stuff. Best I've managed is a .avi with no subs or audio. Any help would be much appreciated.

Go to the Stream List and disable the subtitle tracks and whichever audio track you don't want, leaving only the Japanese audio track enabled. Right-click that track and make sure it's set to "Direct stream copy". Also make sure "Direct stream copy" is selected in the Video menu.

Then just save as AVI and you should be all set.

Well, that didn't actually work, but I managed to work out a roundabout solution that did, so no sweat.
