O.o i used all the things i needed to use for dvd ripping..finishing it off with virtualdub and when i play the video it has no sound...is it supposed to do this or did i do something wrong?

If you're following the guides, than yes, you should have no sound IIRC.
I'm quite supprised how often this comes up since most cons' contests prohibit dub audio and most videos that have dub audio in them are complete failures.

^.^ thanks alot..for a min there i thought i screwed somthing up...:/ but i wouldnt mind puting audio in this one video i have in my...i guess i can go without

open the vob in virtualdub, select the sound bits you want, go to streams then stream list and click save wav
