Sounds like a good way to solve the time issue, and now I have one deadline fewer to think about. \o/

Done with Earthy/Wood. Just have to wait for my streamload account to start working again to upload it to ya... Putting finishing touches on Maze. Should be final within the week. Sweet.....
Well, Sweet is more in the footage gathering phase. I have the song edited though. It may have to wait until the next edition since I've been recently given a lot of work by my sister. We'll see, but don't count on it by the Aug 5th deadline.

Before I say "yay" or "nay," and mayhaps this has been asked before,...but what is the deal with the cards? Anything to do with tarot? I'm a bit confused...

Pretty much nothing to do with Tarot. The cards are from Cardcaptor Sakura. They were created by a powerful magician named Clow Reed (hence Clow cards). Each card is infused with a magical property which can be called upon by the person who owns the card. One would use the Windy card to create a strong wind, or the Fly card to sprout wings and fly. Wood grows trees, Bubble makes bubbles (and cleans things).... You get the drift.

In that case,...looking at the remaining cards, I can't think of even a song I would use much less an appropriate anime to go with it. I guess continuity is important to me. I'd rather turn in a coherent clip than a merely representative one.

Maybe next time. :?

I'm done with both of my tracks and actually have been for awhile (didn't actually change much). I've just been swamped with a thousand things at once and it slipped my mind to send you the finals. I'll get at least one up within the next few days though.

quick question:
As far as the 29.97 fps goes, do you need that in progressive or is interlaced fine? (I only ask becasue I edit in 23.976 fps, and it will affect how I upconvert.)

Interlaced can be acceptable, I suppose.

Well, I made it progressive. I only asked in case you wanted it interlaced (I'm not sure why you would...)

Would an extended deadline into October suit everybody? I have recieved several e-mails (about 5) requesting a deadline extension to get segments perfected, and so I am regrettably pushing this back into mid october. The title will be Clow's Collection: Part I

While I could conceivably have my segment in August 4th, the extended deadline would be a welcome sigh of relief. (Since I wouldn't have to rush to finish. Though I would like to have it in by the end of August so I don't have to worry about it.)

I'm sure I could have it in before October, but with so many other deadlines looming, I would appreciate the extension. I really want to stay on this project, and as of late, I was beginning to question the plausibility of that - but if you extend the deadline, I should be fine.
