Transparency problomes in Premiere

ugh yes the n00b again *puts on anti-flame suit* ok I got the transparency all nice and setup but go to export the movie and magicly its gone. anyone know how to get it to stay? I have tried everything and even looked at the help file with no luck.

Try setting your work area to just a small segment that contains a bit of transparency and render that. Keep monkeying with it untill you get a result you like.

If you still have problems, make sure that the transparent clip is "over" (in a higher numbered video track) than the clip you want as background.

I am guessing it shows up when you preview ?

If it works when you preview, but not when you export, check under Export Settings|Keyframe & Rendering... Make sure nothing is checked there.

Also use a nice codec with alot of bitrate when you export. Something like huffYUV, MJPEG or even a high bitrate divx file.
