You're kidding right? The Hours That Remain is one of the most complete albums I've heard in a long time. Start to finish, there is virtually no weak song. I suppose there could've been better choices for the video, but "My World is Ending" is one of the more siginfigant songs for the theme of the album.

I definetly agree with that The Hours That Remain is an album you can listen start to finish and find no weak points, It's just eh.. My World is Ending is a great song in itself, but yeah just personal opinion that another track on that album would have been better.. maybe, Redefine Me, The Hours That Remain, Simplicity Demand, My Secret Window (big thumbs up)

But yeah if your talking about theme's and lyrics then I'm walking out the other way, I really can't be bothered with what lyrics mean to me anymore, but koutos(sp?) to you though, they are the biggest essence to any song and of course to the soul.

I heard they´re the best ever :O

I´m not really the fan of death metal, because I´m somone that thinks that all the screaming destroys the melody. So what do I do? Listen to melodic death metal instead (if I listen to a sort of dm) ^^ I don´t have any songs yet at home, but I heard some songs of Arch Enemy. It´s nice stuff.

I agree, I suppose. My Secret Window is by far my favorite song on the CD. I'd have loved to see a video of it. I did manage to have a lengthy talk with Jakob and Mikkel at progpower this past october, and Mikkel mentioned that they might be bringing that on Tour to perfom live. I had mentioned to him that while the set was amazing (Soul Decision live FT fucking W!!!) it was a shame they had to leave that one out.

I've been listening to Wintersun and Penumbra lately, both are good Black metal bands, but they include a heck of a lot more styles than just that one genre. Also, "With Odin On Our Side" by Amon Amarth is also good.

Wintersun is Melodeath and Amon Amarth is Viking Death, not Black Metal.

Ahh, the sign of the true metalhead .. correcting subgenere's to their nearly infinitely minute detail.
