Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!/Elite Beat Agents Mep(interest gauge)

Ever since i picked up the games i have been totally addicted to them. Both the Japanese version and the english version. For those who don't know what the games are, they are rythem games for the Nintendo DS and have been HUGE hits in japan and america. While i was playing i got to thinking of someway of combining it with anime. it would be a much more original idea than lots of the meps popping up now days based on souly bands people like.

Elite beat agents - http://tinyurl.com/245lqx

Ouendan - http://tinyurl.com/yuhr69

This is how the games are played.

My idea would be to use actually elite beat agents. ouendan notes and time it to the music in the game and have anime in the background AND/OR make scenerios that correspond with the notes and wheather they pass of fail.

A problem i could see already is getting ahold of the notes, i could take snaps of recorded game footage and then cut out the notes and create the outer circles that approach the notes in photoshop or your editing software. The next problem, for those who play the games will know that at the top of the botom screen you have a bar that says wheather you pass or fail, i wouldn't know at all how to correspond this with the edited versions

there would be a maximum of 11-12 tracks and if this got enough interest i would create the mix then

for gerneral stuff i would say

Resolution: 640X480
Frame rate: 29.97 (or w/e)
Submission: Huffy or uncompressed DV avi
Footage: would prefere dvd footage but most likely only get downloaded stuff...just make sure its HQ.

thats jsut a quick look over my idea. if you are interested post here and if you have any ideas on making it work, post here or PM me.

thanks for reading........sorry for typos >_>;

Seems like that kind of format would be a bit repetitive as an mep. One video like that might be pretty clever. 20 videos like that might just be redundant. Just my 2 cents.

Maybe if you just let people edit the tracks however they want, it could work out better. The ddr projects got bad enough with everyone thinking they had to include arrows all in their vids (just think how bad it would have been if the actual arrows were scrolling across every single track!)

Hmm, maybe if they'd switch it up every level. Like if it would get more advanced or something?
