I wasn't addicted to Guild Wars though I did try it.

My reasoning for MMORPG avoidance - knowing my easily-addicted self, I'd never be able to stop, and I have enough addictions anyway.

Actually I don't play any RPG games for that matter, unless one considers STALKER an RPG :roll:

Ditto. After remembering how much of my life was wasted on Diablo II and Starcraft I decided to give WoW a pass. I can have a life or I can play a multiplayer game. Apparently I can't do both so I choose to have a life. There are days I regret that choice...

With all the hype and popularity, I thought WoW was pretty disappointing. It's really nothing special when put next to other MMOs.
