Not Exactly Quadrophonic (Arkenstone)

The latest release from David Arkenstone - Myths and Legends - comes with a second CD that is designed for tandem play alongside the main CD; i.e. two CD players (and at least four speakers) are required for the full effect.
This album includes a second bonus CD ... designed to be played simultaneously ... contains supplemental ambient textures, layered melodic material, sound effects and sonic encoding ... The recordings are designed to capitalize on the differences between players, so don't worry about getting them perfect (re: simultaneous play)....

A DVD is also included with music videos in the same order as the CD tracks. So, you can watch at the same time. (But you'll need to mute the TV speakers.)

It's not an all-out amazing experience although it is kind of interesting if you like Arkenstone's music. Some pieces work better than others. You can sample the songs over at Amazon's page.
