Vegas 7.0b Help

Hey a-m-v.org Forums. I KNow most of you are probably saing "OH noes another 1 post noob asking for help" Or something in that general area. But, I have never used this before and it is way different from Premier, so. Plus i did use the search option and could not find anything.

Question:

If my clip is just one complete episode when i import it, how do i take out clips from it, because all i seem to keep doing is deleting the whole episode, I read the Idiots guide also and, i must be worse then an idiot. Retarded might be the correct term...And i split a selection of the episode but i cant seem to delete just one little clip out of the split without deleting the whole selection.

Hope that was clear enough for an honest answer, can anyone help?

hmmmmm...im not exactly sure what you are asking are you asking how you delete a small clip inside of a whole episode, well,im not sure if this helps, but use "s" to split a clip (S = Split),and then delete it,or,what exactly are you asking?
