Hi, exactly what it says in the subject. Just give me some directions. Thanks ^^. As I understand it, I have to covert to Lagarith first then Divx, but if only I know where to go :P

Thanks ^^

And proper instructions on exporting lossless from Sony Vegas can be found here.

(But beware, it hasn't been updated in three years.)

That's still accurate, except that it says the only codecs you would ever want to export to would be uncompressed or HuffYUV. I find exporting to Lagarith works perfectly fine.

If you subtracted all of the guides from your total posts I wonder how many posts you'd have. I browse around here and see one on soooo many threads with someone replying with a guide, but hey I was asking the same stuff about a week ago x3

Well, when the exact same questions get asked over and over again despite the fact that all the information is available from simply browsing a bit, the responses don't have to be any more than cut and paste. Hell, writing an AI helper here wouldn't be difficult at all.

Yeah, but you wouldn't have been if you'd taken the time to actually look around :? It's not like the guides are exactly hidden.

Hi, Please help, I dont get this part:

'Field Order: this, again should be EXACTLY the same as your source which you should have worked out when you started the project. Progressive (non-interlaced) footage should be set to "None (progressive scan)" and interlaced footage should have the same field order as your source footage. This is a very important setting.'

I dont know which one I am :S

Thanks

and you.... i find that the guides sometimes contain "too much information" cause when i first tried using them my tiny little brain was overwhelmed with information and just "shut down". so i tend to not just respond to posts with just READFAG (which translates to Read ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides after the filter is activated). but I try to direct them to the specific guide they need.

to make it sound worse I also post sometimes with my own guides, as they aren't an official part of this site (nor do they need to be).. I have a notepad filled with advice that i have given again and again and again and again, cause i figure that copy/paste is a lot easier on my carpel tunnel syndrome than typing it out every single time...

imagine how much time we would waste typing the same things over and over again. this is why the guides were made, that way we could give a link to where people could read the information that they need. or some people might even read before asking redundant questions on the org forums.

as CrackTheSky said: they are there for a reason, and its not like they are hidden...
and as BasharOfTheAges said when you have hung around long enough and seen the redundancy of posts you will understand why most people respond with the guides..

i bet if you took out all my posts containing guides I would still be one of the top posters... i have a "big mouth" and i like to talk a lot.

Well, when I made the clips for my AMV, I used Lagarith. No Audio in VD.
