Live Free or Die Hard

Post by Tsunami Jones » Fri Jun 29, 2007 10:46 pm

Saw it this evening. Was a fun action flick, but definitely the poorest of the Die Hard series. The villain sucks, the plan is completely unbelievable, but there's plenty of excitement and such as would be expected of a Die Hard film.

The movie was definitely worsened by having a PG-13 rating, and there's a few pretty obvious parts where they mask some cursing.

It was rather enjoyable over all

My friend described it as an advertisement for the Director's Cut DVD.

I'm considering it, I really liked the others in the series... I heard though that all the good parts were on the previews and i hate when they do that. Can't they save something for when you watch it?!
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

Nah, there's plenty of good parts that aren't in the trailers :P

I should really get around to watching the Die Hard movies one of these days.
