I'm not sure what the significange of the XX is, and unconventional seems a little overused of a word. But I'm annoying and have no taste, so just disregard my opinion.

(I was seious about the disregarding opinion thing)

XX is the chromosomal makeup of "female." XY is male.
It's all in the genes. :)

Why don't you include the word "chromosomal" somehow in the title? Might work out. I don't like XX as the title to be honest.

Aiyah. lol... I'm not sure anyone's going to be 100% happy with any title we manage to come up with, it's an awfully charged subject, even now, so many years after the women's rights movement.
If anyone would like to help me come up with ideas, I'm trying to come up with something that conveys the fact that we're trying to show women outside of the general societal archetypes. To this end, I've been looking at antonyms for "stereotype" (which is how I came up with "Unconventional"), as well as some famous quotes by noted feminists, for inspiration.

Personally, I think the "XX" is going to be the easiest way to have people understand this MEP is about women. It doesn't have any derogatory connotations and it's PC, as well as fairly recognizable.
Perhaps MEP inXXclusion?
Epitome of Femininity?
Femininity Re-established?
Miss Atypical?

(I'm just going through the thesaurus entries here, feel free to jump in any time. :D)

How about the MISS AMV PAGEANT 2007?

Just kidding.

I like the epitone one though. It kind of fits the elegance of the AMV.

That would be funny, actually. There could be a swimsuit segment, a formal wear segment... :D
