Read:
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... ogetb.html
up through the part about making your footage progressive, then switch to this:
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/dvdinwmm2/

Between the two of them, they should have everything you need to get your DVD footage usable in WMM.

You can get it here for free:
http://www.download.com/Windows-Movie-M ... ag=lst-0-1

You can also download it from Microsoft's website for free, but (I believe) only as part of Service Pack 2 for Windows XP.

But I think that all the instructions in that second guide will work just as well for the original version of Windows Movie Maker; if you find anything that doesn't, please let me know so I can fix it.

Oh and Scintilla thanks for all your help I really appreciate it :D

You need the footage in AVI files for Movie Maker and just about every other movie editor. You do this via Virtual Dub Mod.

:?: :?: :?: Im not a real technical type of person so all of this stiff about these diffrent formats really gives me a headache so what Im trying to say is Could you make it a little simpler ex:

Step 1 : Dycrpt it
Step 2 : ???
Step 3 : ???

basically tell me how you do it with your DVD's Im not trying to annoy you guys I swear Im not, It's just not clicking for me so if you could try to simplify it I would greatly appreciate it. soory for being a Bother. :(

People are already going out of their way to give you far more assistance than is parented. You want results, show a little work on your part and read the damned guides. God forbid if it took any work to learn a new hobby.
