hm, pretty much a letdown for me. for once, the quality wasn't really high, macroblocking and segmented gradients all the way even in the mp4. editing was rather boring which of course was due to the scene choice focusing on al (maybe the most boring ones in the show) but also becuase of the uninnovative editing...
so yeah, can't say that much positive about it, I enjoyed the end tho...

i knew that some people werent going to like this as much as much as maybe some of my others,

i didnt see any macroblocking O.o unless youre talking about the odd effect i got in the sepia parts O.o i was attempting to use a texture on those that kinda failed a bit... but atleast i tried something new eh? (it was supposed to look like paper)

and the gradiants were pissing me off they were worse in the mp4 imo but i couldnt figure out how to get rid of them, i didnt want to make a help topic and i sware i saw one before but search function was a huge let down... (it gave me topics on Onegai Teacher series discussion) so i got lazy and just ignored them in the end, and chose the least gradiant-ed mp4 (i ended up encoding it like 5 times, using different avs filters each time...)

If you dont like Al, thats not a problem, she happens to be my favorite part of the show which is why i focused on her...

nothing too unusual about it, as GFN sait editing was a little boring, but i found no problems with the quality

i was like "woah is there a new rob thomas album?" and then I looked it up to find out that it's just a stupid disney single. TOTAL BUMMER ;_;
well anyways, even though I really loved the song there was a real lack in terms of scene selection IMO (and the fact that that girl is not sad/cute/sentimental to look at, I hated her in the series...in fact I kinda hated the series :p)
so overall I dunno...you just need to feel the heart of the AMV and stuffz :OOO

yea i donno if i am a big fan of how i did it myself, i might go back and see if i can fix the quality of it... the texture didnt really turn out how i wanted it...

Cute vid, I liked that it was about a side character AL, and you pretty much captured her in this vid. I did think that a few parts could've used more accentuation's to the beat in the song, like the part at 02:41 felt kinda weak, maybe something like fading those cuts to black would've made that part stand out a bit more. the hits just felt like they needed a stronger sync than just plain cuts there ;p




Edit: Oh and was that interlaceing I saw in your fades? Like as in forgot to set premeire to No fields in the field order box for the project details? It was only mildly present in your edits, like fades and such, which is why I think that might be the case.

To be honest, that girl annoyed me all the time while I was watching the series...

But the editing is good and I liked the song.

to be honest i liked the girl because she was one of the least annoying "little girl" characters i have ever seen in an anime

1. she wasnt whiney
2. she didnt have a possessive attitude about any of the other characters (ie big brother complex kicking and screaming if another girl went near Claus... that sort of stuff...)
3. she wasnt spoiled

i could go on...

either way its up again...
if you want to be anal thats fine, you smell of ass to me anyways :/
