Ripping Viz DVDs

Postby Loveless_Belial » Wed Jun 13, 2007 11:04 am

I was just wondering if DVD Decrypter and/or Vegas don't work well with Viz DVDs'. I was trying to rip my Bleach. I got the whole episode I was ripping, but when I opened up Vegas 7.0 and imported the ep, I only got 1 minute of it and the audio sound was ahead of the clips. Then it starts to freeze up on me. Out of 6 Viz DVDs I own (4 being Bleach, 1 Flame of Recca, and the other Fatal Fury) only my Fatal Fury one seems to work.At first, I was thinking maybe the discs were dirty, so I cleaned them, same results. Anyone know the problem??? Thank you in advance for helping me!!

are you importing the vobs directly into Vegas?

I've always had issues with importing vobs in vegas, i usually use virtualdub mod to convert them to soundless and lossless avi pieces first... (but i guess i do it the hard way) only 1 time did i get the vobs to work "okay" in vegas.. but still the quality was lower than using lossless avi..
