Saving Problem

Post by Star Saver » Tue Jun 12, 2007 11:53 am

I am currently trying to save my project and WMM tells me that I cannot save the movie file to the specific location. It also tells me to verify that the source files are in the original location and be sure that saving location is still available and that there is enough disk space.

1) All files are still in the exact place that I Imported them from.
2) The saving location is still there because I am saving my video file to my desktop
3) There is definately enough free space because I have a number of Gigabytes available and the movie file only takes about 15MB.

I have no idea what is going on here. Can anyone help me out?

I had this problem many times.

There are a few things I did:

1. Close out of as many programs as possible to give it more RAM

If that doesn't work

2. Try some different settings, I noticed that somethings wouldn't save under the regular setting but would easily with High quality video (large). That's how I discovered it honestly, and you'll get better quality.

or

3. This is tedious, but cut up your video. Cut it into parts, save each part (highest setting you can) then reimport the parts together and save it together, that should work, but it is tedious.

Thanks a bunch guys. All it took was to save part of my video and then place that into another movie project.
