Using Avisynth scripts in Premier Elements 3

Is this possible, and if so how would I do it?

if for whatever reason the avs plugin doesn't work - you can always make fake avi files (eg. vfapi, makeavis)

I thought the latest version of the avisynth plugin worked with most versions? Have you actually tried it? This page says it works with anything later than regular 5.
