It's obvious that, as a society, Americans are idiots. Most are just too short minded to even consider the benefits of immigration, or as far as I can realistically tell, are so concerned with their own well-being that they won't even think about helping someone else, especially when the group or individual in need is completely different from themselves. Some people are trying to stick a lid on the Great Melting Pot.
