Help on script [End of Evangelion]

Postby -Reda- » Sun May 20, 2007 3:10 pm

Recently discovering the beauty of Avisynth and the plugin for Adobe Premiere, I eagerly went out and got a copy of the End of Evangelion movie. I ripped it with DVD Decrypter, set it up with DGMPEG and prepared to make what would hopefully be a great End of Evangelion video. However for me, this video file had TONS of problems, including partial frame blending, interlacing, and several quality issues, such as the colors being to dull and bland. Also it wasn't even cropped right on the sides, I had black bars on all sides of the video, including left and right. It seems to be a disaster. Being relatively new to AviSynth, I don't really understand any of the filters it comes with, or where to even begin with on this video file. Is there anyone out there who's worked with this before and could provide me with a good script for this? It would be most appreciated, thank you.

Did you try reading the guides?

In the documentations folder of your AviSynth install directory, there is also a file with overviews of all the native commands and a few of the third-party plugins. Look for "index.html" on the docs folder.

Yea I have looked at some of the guides. Its just a bit extreme for a first script for me, its very overwhelming. I'll take another look at the guides today when I get home though.
