Arguably, Lelouch is very much a classic anti-hero character or at best a Nietzschean hero. He's not a hero in a classical sense or Proppian sense, and he does have a number of villanous traits to him, especially later in the series.

In a video, it'd actually be pretty easy to position him as a villain.

The cast of "It's Always Sunny in Philidelphia" tried to set fire to Sweet Dee and a box of kittens. Not quite puppies, but very villainous. Too bad she dropped the kittens during her escape.
