Best Multi-Editor Project (The Team Rocket Award)

Postby GloryQuestor » Sun Jan 22, 2012 4:13 pm

(The Team Rocket Award) In a multi-editor project (MEP), editors divide and edit distinct 'tracks', which are then joined by transitions and compiled into one AMV. A MEP generally has a theme that features a specific artist, genre, or style of editing. Examples of this are Ayumix: D a y b r e a k and AMV Hell.

(NOTE: there is a separate category for Best Collaborative Video, which is a video to one singular, continuous song track made by more than one editor.)

The French prove yet again that they make great MEPs.

Well this is one to start the list. But don't forget about this one too:

Was possibly the most solidly edited MEP that wasn't Mosaic or Ru Comix.

The only other MEP that has won more awards or made the finals for more contests with just its individual tracks is the original Disney MEP.

The strongest contenders for me:

Delicious despair motif executed with that stylish french editing is win.

and

Song is sweet and beat sync is smexy fun.

I also like the disney mep, but it feels less like a MEP to me and more like a bunch of awesome standalone AMVs playing back to back.
