Back when I first started editing, you had to cut the film with a razor blade, then tape it back together! Then somebody brought out the two-VCR method. One deck would record, while the other played. You would hit pause on the record VCR, but if you didn't get it right, you'd have to go back and do it again.

I have to call the manager tonight to double check everything and I'll ask him. Last year we requested a KJ, but none ever showed. I don't know if they will hire one just for the event, the waiter we talked to to set the date this time didn't seem all too confident. I'll let you know what I find out.
