AWA was really fun. It was awesome meeting other editors, and touching most of them with Squirtle.

AWA was awsome. Save for the various tech problems at the VAT I probabably would say that this one was the best. Highlights. . .

Packed DS Chatrooms of developers in the VAT (finally, Pictochat is of some use)

Having to quickly abandon Friday's party because security is on its way. Though as it turns out it wasn't because of the plushies we were throwing from the 9th story. . . .I find that kind of dissapointing actually.

SQ getting drunk, picked up, spanked and the subsequent rush of Vic to try to keep her from vomiting on his floor.

Negative:

Trying to fly out of Atlanta on Sunday. . . Jesus Christ that was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at an airport.

It was a great first time for me. I got to meet so many editors, from the AMV editor's dinner on Friday and then throughout the con. There were many I didn't get to meet ... but I will definitely plan to go next year. :D

I also went around to many of the events asides from the VAT room, such as the two-hour Totally Lame Anime block. If there is any one event I didn't want to miss, it was that one -- and it was the funniest two hours I ever watched. If you didn't see it this year, definitely keep it in mind for next year. (Hint: If you go to Wal-Mart and see Space Thunder Kids in one of their bargain bins, it's worth watching just to see one of the lamest--and most ripping-off of other stories--animations ever made.)

I have my Pro and SAST videos up for those who want to see them (just click on the video title):
- Hideki's Bad Day
- Agent Tomo

It was a great time, and I will be back. :D

My AWA 12 gallery, if anyone's interested:

elitist circlejerking

Nessie and/or Streicher (I think it was him, anyway) need to upload their clips of Kit getting the crap slapped out of him by AtomX. That was...yeah.

Now we just wait for Lee to post his hundreds upon hundreds of pictures x_x

Also, the con was fucking awesome. First con I've ever been to, and I'm going to go ahead and declare it the best time I've ever had in my life. Everyone is awsm. FC was awsm, Kit, Nancy, Aesling, Matty, Nessie, Koop, Atom, Pwolf, Decoy, Nio, JCD, Metro, Grace, (too many goddamn people!) were all awsm. I think I stopped laughing long enough to sleep and that was it. The way first cons were explained to me was that they were kind of like "testing the water". If I was just testing the water this year, I'd hate to think what's going to happen next year. And hurray for the yuri circle that NO ONE got a picture of. :D

(Drunk editor winner is Nancy, with Sto a close second)
