I unfortunately believe my flight is getting in pretty late, but I'm sure I will see most folks sometime during the con.

Come to the AMV Panel? :P

o shit i forgot about that. i haven't even bought my plane ticket yet. Ill try to set something up, maybe. Last year there were like 3 groups of AMV creators in the same restaurant who were completely oblivious of the others existence.

Any thoughts of where/when? I say we just throw a hotel party with booze and amv watching.

Thats true but the restaurant was crowded so we had to do it that way. Its interesting because the majority of the people didnt know each other except online.

I will laugh if you and I are on the same flight. I make a connection in O'Hare before BWI so...it's entirely possible

I'll go if we do it at the Ruth's Chris Steak House across from Ruddfucker's.
I have no idea how to use this new forum.

I know this has nothing to do with this dinner, but I know the cost for Otakonhas now been raised to $60. I've read some of the changes on the page, but I was wondering, what do this genrally cost at the convention? I mean stuff like manga, art, anime, dojunshi (however it's spelled), shwag, t-shirts, etc.

I just wanna make sure I have enough money to have a good time at the con since I am from B-more and it will be my first con.

Any pointers?

400 bucks is a nice figure for me and I live 3 miles from the con.

Mr. Grim is in NO way capable of gaining any where close to that number. Maybe 1/10th of that number lol. I have about 120$ saved up so I will just have to go with the essentials.

GDA: Die a slow and miserable death.

Mroni: Thanks for the info but....WOW

400 monies. I have no job right now so that's a hard figure to come up with. Guess I better start saving right away. Any suggestion on how to get 400 buck in less than a month?
