Lucky you!! Monday I got to drive for almost two days just to get there (actually, I'm going to a show in Portland for the first part of the week for work).. then on Thursday I should be there :D

Ohhh, the lineup for the AMV rooms is fantastic! Just finished all the play lists

BTW, mind hyping up the panel and AMV bocks at the end of the contest... Expecially the Comedy & Parody part on Friday and AMV Hell 3 on Saturday

just get me the full list of blocks and I wll hyope them up
currently I have 2 of the 3 play DVDs done (took me all week to get this far as I been checking at every step to make sure I maintained audio synch)

I think what happened last year was when I was using the merge feature of tmpgenc last year, I just tried to make my computer do too much at once, even with the minor upgrade its gotten, I can only do abot 5 clips at once, merge them, next 5, and then merge the seperate parts

I am planning on going, if I do it will be the first convention I go to-- but I dont want to go unless I can find someone to go with [no fun when your alone].

I was wondering, does anyone know why conventions dont premiere simfiles from stepmania and/or Dance With Intensity? or do any conventions premier simfiles?

[Stepmania= DDR simulation on the computer, widely popular along with DWI and som other simulations for DDR and DDR like games]

I honestly dont know much about stepmania but are simfiles legal licensed products of stepmania or DDR? if not it could come down to legality issues.

and going alone, well it may seem like no fun, but once you start meeting people, you wont be alone for long

I went alone last year (no room mates to share a hotel room with even) and I pretty much got a girlfriend outa the con (we strted dating at the mid part to end of May, and YES I know I am an Insensitive man fir not remembering the day precisely)

just the experience is fun even when you start out alone

I dont know, but stepmania is a very large simulation that works with Dance Dance Revolution products.. also I do not believe legality issues would be a problem because DDR is not a patented idea [that is dancing to music] which explains why there is other dancing games from other companies such as DWI and Beatmania... but who knows, I guess Stepmania has not become as widespread is I believe it is.

If you want to learn more about SM and simfiles and about all of it go to www.bemanistyle.com, largest stepfile site around.

As for the second post that sounds good :D I just broke up with my girlfriend because her parents are hard ***'s and wouldnt ever let me take her places. But I am not very talkative which might make it hard for me to meet people at a convention -[then again you never know, since I havent been to one]-

I am gonna ask my friend if he'll go when I get home...

people in seattle dont know how to drive
last week I was going to the General meeting (I dont drive currently) and my ride missed the exit and wanted to get into the next lane over so we could hop off the free way and hop back on where it ends. Instead we were in the exit lane for the junction to the next freeway and the guy in the lane beside us sped up when we signaled then they changed lanes to get off the junction at the last moment, needless to say we ended up adding like 15 extra miles to the trip

I think its less that people in Seattle cant drive more so that it is that they're all a bunch of rude assholes. My dad drives a lot because of his job and everyday someone cuts him off when hes trying to get to an exit, its like they do it on purpose-- speed up so you can change lanes -.-

Registration is hell.
Pre-Registration is purgatory.

Could've been worse, I suppose.
