ummm, do live in Iraq?

your location says california. Also, if this is just another pointless thread, its going to get locked.

Also don't ask where to download anime.

you can buy anime online or at your local bestbuy/anime store

...Jarheads.

Seriously, if you'd like me to send you a care package I'd be happy to. Plenty of the people in my unit would be willing to help, I'm sure. Yadda, yadda...

Respectfully,
Kionon

Greencine will send DVDs to APO addresses. My cousin used Netflix when he was over there.

They need to show Gasaraki. It's like what's going on there now, but with mecha.

Maybe. Though I think showing Gasaraki to, say, prisoners of war might be in violation of the third Geneva Convention.

(well, I think it's that bad, anyway...)

Ya know something? Another anime that could be suitable for over there would be Saikano.

...You're sick. SaiKano is sad and violent. it would be too much of a reminder, which is why these guys and gals will not want it as their escape.

I'd send like CCS and Bottle Fairies and other such ow my teeth sugary goodness.

That's another thing, dontcha think Saikano has a bit of a political statement? Like it was some kind of message? Or maybe just like a dramatization of world events? I'm thinkin that cause maybe at the time was when everything on our end happened? I dont know, when did it come out? 2002 in Japan? or what? I think it does.

That makes me sick then. I brought the whole serries with me and I'm out side of Tall Afar, Iraq. Just to levelthings off though I also brought Naruto 1-100, Tsukuyomi; Moon Phase, Maharoba; Heartfull Days, Zenosaga The Animation, Magical Nurse Komugi, Mezo Forte, Please Teacher, Ghost in the Shell 1&2, and many others.

Last deployment I took Evangelion complete and Gasaraki.

Hello! It's not sick and we don't mind being reminded about it. It's all fiction and nothing like what it is really like over there (The few that are like it we view as 'motivational' and watch em anyway).

It's all just movies.

Hell, last deployment the entire Dawson's creek saga made the rounds...

We 'Jarheads' are a wierd breed. Anything you watch is justified when you 10,000 miles away from home.

While I was there, we got a local satelite dish and provider service which got the French Anime chanel 'Mangas.fr'. If you really want a fix, watch some DBZ in French. :P
